1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MarryU (“the Service”) at marryu.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of MarryU, including couples, co-planners, and wedding party members who access the platform.

2. Description of Service

MarryU is a wedding planning platform that provides tools including:

  • Wedding website builder with RSVP functionality
  • Guest list and table management
  • Budget and vendor tracking
  • Shared photo album
  • Registry management
  • Honeymoon planning tools
  • Wedding party coordination

3. Account Registration

To use MarryU, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MarryU only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights
  • Upload photos or content for which you do not have permission or rights
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Use the platform to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose other than planning your own wedding

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to MarryU (photos, text, guest data, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for all content you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating the platform.

6. Subscription Plans and Payments

MarryU offers both a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe.

  • All prices are in USD and subject to change with 30 days notice
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months
  • Downgrading your plan takes effect at the next billing cycle
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any plan

7. Public Wedding Websites

When you publish a wedding website on MarryU, you are making that content publicly accessible. You are responsible for ensuring that all content on your wedding website complies with these terms and applicable law, including obtaining consent from any individuals whose photos or information you publish.

8. Intellectual Property

MarryU and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MarryU and are protected by intellectual property laws. Our trademarks, logo, and branding may not be used without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

MarryU is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for any loss of data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MarryU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use of MarryU after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
